Since 1952, our family has farmed where we are today.
The Beginning.
Our great grandpa Hyten began farming some of our farm in 1952. Our grandpa, Leo Lowery, began farming here in 1963. Over the years pieces have been bought and added to create the farm we have today.
The History.
Historically we have been a row crop farm, and it still plays a major role in our operation today. Today, we practice strict no-till and regenerative agriculture methods to improve soil health and farm yields.
The Dream.
In 2018, Megan, Matt, Logan, and Maggie dreamed of a different kind of farm. A farm where people came to buy products directly and had a relationship with the food and products they purchased.
The Growth.
In 2018, the first greenhouse was put up. In 2019, another larger one followed. In 2020, two more even larger greenhouses are being put up to supply our customers.
The Future.
In the future, we plan to expand into elderberries, Christmas trees, and a fruit orchard for families to come out and pick their own fruit.
The Community.
We have dared to dream of farming differently, and we hope that you enjoy our farm and community. We enjoy getting to visit all of our guests, and educate them on farming today and the potential for local foods.
